kirkwood panorama images

While heading back from Kirkwood, I hoped off the road and took some pics for making panoramas. Most of them turned out good, but the plant life did not overlap well.

Moment Skis

Apr 27 2010 Published by aaron under Design, Fun, Travel

During my weekend trip to Tahoe, I made conversation with a guy on the lift that was running some awesome gear made by Moment. I checked out their site and I am hooked. Gonna save up some money and get me a pair next year.

Simple note taking and organization with TiddlyWiki

Feb 04 2010 Published by aaron under Organization, Tech, Travel

I have really found TiddlyWiki to be of great help. I have been using them on a usb memory stick for a couple months now and have grown to like it for capturing data, links and other info.

My favorite things about the TiddlyWiki are:

  1. Its all in one html file
  2. Searching is fast
  3. Composing a note is simple
  4. Notes can have references
    1. this makes for an option of opening all of the relative notes at one time (very cool)
    2. linking notes together with out having to type specific info into the note itself
  5. Timeline shows what you have been working on recently
  6. Orphans show unused notes

I am sure there are plenty more benefits to using the TiddleWiki system. If you have any, please add them to the comments!

Space needles and crumpets

Nov 08 2009 Published by aaron under Photos, Travel, iPhone

This morning we went to the spcae needle. It was great because there were it many people around the attraction. During my photo taking at the top, I did not realize that Iapped the ring twice. This was I due to three things running through my mind:

1 it was cold and I could only operate my iPhone with out my gloves

2 my battery was getting low

3 had many photos to take

Here is my end result.
