I sold my car recently and here is the check list I used:

1. I need to bring with me
   1. bill of sale
      1. put "vehilce is sold as is without any guarantee or warranty"
   2. title
   3. smog certification
   4. additional documentation
   5. release of liability from dmv
   6. recent receipt from mechanic
2. Stuff I want from the buyer
   1. cash or cashiers check
   2. hold their keys while they test drive my car
   3. current drivers license
3. What I do after selling the car
   1. submit release of liability to DMV
   2. cancel insurrance

I have really found TiddlyWiki to be of great help. I have been using them on a usb memory stick for a couple months now and have grown to like it for capturing data, links and other info.

My favorite things about the TiddlyWiki are:

1. Its all in one html file
2. Searching is fast
3. Composing a note is simple
4. Notes can have references
   1. this makes for an option of opening all of the relative notes at one time (very cool)
   2. linking notes together with out having to type specific info into the note itself
5. Timeline shows what you have been working on recently
6. Orphans show unused notes

I have been recently reading the book called Upgrade Your Life: The Lifehacker Guide to Working Smarter, Faster, Better, by Gina Trapini. In the book there are tons of suggestions on how to save time and headaches in your life. For myself, I have found the hacks to very rewarding! Somethings in my life are very tedious and need to be streamlined. Recently, I found that my email system needed a nice ironing. So, I did some quick google searches and did not find much help on how to move message really easy via the keyboard. Thus, I set out to find my own solution. That solution is keyboard shortcuts for os x mail. This helps in saving time, and here is how to implement it for one folder:

To make a short cut for moving a message to a folder:

1. open system preferences
2. select "keyboard" module
3. select "keyboard shortcuts"
4. select "application shortcuts" on the left side
5. add a new entry for the "Mail" application
6. make the menu title to be the exact spelling and capitolization as the folder you want to move messages to
7. choose a keyboard shortcut (tip: use cmd+alt+ctrl+(letter) to avoid overlap)
8. relaunch mail to recognize the shortcut(s)

update: I have noticed that sometimes, mail does not recognize the keyboard shortcut until after you have used the menu item. This is very upsetting.

Choose a message and hit your keyboard shortcut. Volia! I hope you saw your message dissapear. If not, I suggest you try picking a new keyboard shortcut and relaunching mail or making sure the shortcut is recognized. To verify if your shortcut is being recognized, try the following:

1. open your mail application
2. select the "Message" menu
3. select "Move To" menu
4. find the folder you are targeting with your shortcut
5. check to make sure your menu has your shortcut next to it (refer to the screenshot below for an example)

Organized bags and packs always gravitate my attention to see if the item will stand up to my needs while traveling. Over the years I have noticed that my style of traveling, two things need to change:

Waiting for some newer technology for the Netbooks is holding me back from buying one today. Once NVidia puts their mobile chip out to replace those silly Intel video chips, I think I will be ready to buy one. Since I have large hands, here are my choices:

1. Acer InspireOne
2. Asus Eee PC 1005HA

So far, I like the 11 in. Acer for its full size keyboard.

I have tried the web application with my iPhone and found for the most part that navigation is easy, but sometimes it can been annoying.

Turning the iPhone to be sideways, results in viewing the article at a zoomed view which might be easier than double tapping and panning.

To capture the essence of current style and functionality for the digital person, this takes the cake. Keeping a monitor at home and having the laptop as your source of computing to save space. Or there is the optional stand that supports your beefy Mac Pro tower. Over all, here are my favorite attributes of their products:

4. minimal

I am very impressed with this desk and would totally get one right away if I did not already have a desk system of my own.

Currently, I just got back from a 2 week staycation that involved:

I want to make a wallet like this... so... thats why I need a laser cutter. Finally! I found a good enough excuse!
