iTV might help me save money, but not my queue

iTV looks pretty cool from what little I saw of it before it crashed while loading my netflix account. Maybe I was asking a bit too much for it to handle when I started tapping on the option to fetch the data while loading my netflix queue. But I like its speed for adding items to my netflix queue. However, the lists of movies needs to be improved. Listing all that information is a waste of scrolling speed. The list of movies with the summary in small font makes for slow scrolling and might increase the chances of the application crashing.

I would like to see the application list the titles and then allow for tapping on the title to show the details. This would make a for a nicer interface and allow for higher speed browsing. Also with the details screen you can cross reference other options like where the movie is playing, previews, and add to netflix queue.

This is really going to ruin my netflix queue and push the already 130+ movies over into the 300's. I will be busy with netflix for the next 5 years...

Movie and TV listing iPhone application just got updated with Netflix integration. If you've got a Netflix account you can use it to manage and search for rentals alongside local listings.

AT&T-Approved iPhone-to-Laptop Tethering Coming Soon [IPhone]

WHHHOOOOHHOOO!!! Finally!! some good news about the iPhone! Cause I have recently been frustrated with my the purchase of my new iPhone. Its been slow (but that could be due to many apps I have installed? not sure...maybe time for a fresh start, aka format) and some crashes here and there.

But tethering!? That would be fantastic! TY att!

TechCrunch reports that AT&T-sanctioned 3G tethering is on the way for iPhones "soon." It's good news for iPhone owners, but if soon isn't early enough, you can try solutions like previously mentioned iPhone Modem or my personal favorite, PdaNet.

my iPhone’s receiver does not work and nobody can hear me!

I was talking on my iPhone with a friend and then after I hung up they could not hear me any more!!! WHAT gIVES APPLE!?!?

What you need:

  1. Broken iPhone
  2. Seperate phone line to call your iPhone (I wonder, could you just call your self from the iPhone?)

I am impatient and i want to get to the solution!

Okay, I was mad too. Take a deep breath, and use the actions below to fix the scenario of:

  1. My iPhone is 1.1.4
  2. My iPhone is the 8GB model
  3. I cannot hear audio from the receiver
  4. Party on the other side cannot hear me
  5. When I turn volume up and down, it says "Headphones"

All of the above indicate that your phone is stuck in the "Headphones" mode. So here is how I got out of this horrible bug:

  1. For reliablity of solution to work, reset the phone by:
    1. Hold down Power Button and Home button
    2. Wait for screen to flash
    3. When you see Apple's Logo: LET GO!!
  2. Launch your iPod player application
  3. Start playing any song
  4. Initiate a phone call from second phone line
  5. Answer call with iPhone
  6. Audio will pause and you will voice will not travel to second phone line
  7. Hang up with iPhone
  8. Audio will resume
  9. Pause the audio and press home button
  10. Verify you have fixed solution by using volume up and down buttons

You will have success if your volume indicator says "Speaker".
